We rebuild the systems
businesses are afraid to touch.
Undocumented legacy platforms. AI prototypes that demo well and fail on real questions. Products stuck one release short of shipping. Uplement takes that work from a written specification through to something running in production — and hands back the keys.

Two legacy apps into one portal
Four engagements, four different problems.
Every project below is described in full: what was broken, what we decided, and what shipped. Clients are anonymized; the engineering is not.
Community Operations Platform
Legacy ModernizationTwo aging Web Forms applications, rebuilt as one portal that a volunteer committee can actually run.
Grounded Voice Agent
A real-time voice assistant that answers in a founder’s own words — because it is required to look them up first.
03 · Multimodal AISmart Glasses Field Assistant
Hands-busy work, answered out loud. Live camera and voice from wearable hardware into a multimodal model.
04 · Product EngineeringOffline-First Study Platform
An 8,000-entry classical dictionary turned into a study product — web and native, shipped, and fast offline.
What we are hired to do.
Four practices. They overlap more than they compete — most engagements start in one and end up touching two.
Legacy Modernization
Move off the old stack without losing what it knew.
AI Engineering
Systems grounded in your data, not demos that impress once.
Product Engineering
Web and native from one core, taken all the way to the store.
Cloud & Platform
Infrastructure sized to the organization that has to pay for it.
How the work actually runs.
Four commitments that shape every engagement. They are the reason our projects finish.
Understand before building
We write down what a system does — in language the people who run it can review — before proposing what it should become. Rewrites fail on unstated behavior, not on technology choice.
Ship in working slices
Something real reaches production early and keeps reaching it. No six-month reveal, no integration phase where the risk was quietly accumulating the whole time.
Own the deploy
Infrastructure, identity, migrations and release pipeline are part of the engagement. Work that runs only on a laptop is not finished work.
Leave you the keys
Specifications, tests, runbooks and credentials are yours at the end. We would rather be re-hired than depended on.
Next step
Tell us what is stuck. We will tell you what it takes.
The first conversation is a scoping call, not a pitch. You leave it with an honest read on feasibility, sequence and cost — whether or not we end up working together.
